Get to know ktech CyberThon.
ktech CyberThon 2026 is a cybersecurity competition that brings together university and high-school students, boys and girls, in Kuwait.
CyberThon brings high-school students from across Kuwait together for a day of competition, learning and problem-solving. Teams take on real-world cybersecurity challenges, with mentors from the industry guiding them.
Part of ktech's Computer Security Day, held every year since 2021.

How it works
Register
If you are a university student, register your details online through this site and form your team of 4 members during the registration period.
If you are a high-school student, coordination and registration go directly through the Ministry of Education.
Get ready
Take part in the training days to learn more about the skills and challenges you need before the competition begins, and follow @ktech.kw on Instagram for the latest news and updates.
Compete
Take on the challenges with your team during the competition days and put your cybersecurity skills to work.
Excel
Achieve the best results with your team and compete for the top three places in your category at the closing ceremony.

Teams compete for the top three places in each category, with 9 winning teams in total across these categories:
- 3 teams from boys’ high schools
- 3 teams from girls’ high schools
- 3 teams from universities
First, second and third place in each category are honored with prizes and certificates of achievement, as well as cash prizes and a trip for the winners. Prize details will be announced later.
